Exactly. The mods there, a) have no sense of humor, and b) believe in censorship.
It's like freaking FB or Tweeter over there.
I even tested it out. I took a meme they featured in politicsTOO, which was pretty seriously anti-Trump, and just tweaked a word or two to make it anti-Biden. (btw, if a meme can be tweaked in that way, it's a pretty weak meme, imo...)
Then I submitted the anti-Trump version of the meme to politics and the anti-Biden version to politicsTOO. Well, guess which stream featured the respective meme and which stream didn't?
And even some just flat out funny stuff about Biden that I lifted from the Babylon Bee wouldn't get featured there. I try not to generalize too often, but when *they* say snowflake liberals have no sense of humor, I have to agree.
So while I like the idea of at least having a strong presence in politicsTOO, the practical aspect of the mods being oppressive censors won't allow it. I still sneak over there every now and then to post comments, which seems to trigger the snowflakes to no end. It's sort of like shooting ducks in a barrel though, and I just don't find it to be that much fun.
