It actually is still voluntary. You either get the vaccine or you don't work in a profession where you interact with people. Which is, unfortunately, most blue collar jobs. However, I'd argue that some professions should make the vaccine mandatory. Such as those who work in healthcare and with the elderly who are both at high risk.

Which I honestly selected because it was the first thing to pop up when I searched it, is something I find vehemently disgusting.
No, I don't think food service workers SHOULD be mandatory in getting the vaccine. And I think the woman's concerns were legitimate. Not only that, there were exemptions from mandatory vaccinations included in the notice that included:
"The exception to this policy will be if your own personal health or disability prohibits you from obtaining this vaccination."
And I believe pregnancy pertains to personal health; and should've allowed her to be exempted from the decision of firing.
So, while I don't completely agree with you, I share your concerns.
