Went through a hockey phase in middle and high school. Never played it, but I kept up with teams and watched it constantly or played hockey video games. I live in the southern US, so it's not a big sport around here, and there wasnt much reason for me to get interested in it which is why it was a weird phase for me. I still enjoy it but I dont keep up with it anymore.

Nashville Preds?

I liked the predators but I pulled for the Hurricanes. They were really coming into their own during that time, it was right about the time they got Matt Brindamour.

Alcoholism and drug addiction was weird, yet I don’t think weird is the best descriptor..
7 years sober now but 30+ years of the aforementioned was a pretty “weird” and shitty phase.

Took me a minute to think about it, but then I remembered I really liked Calvin and Hobbes growing up, and when I was a kid, I used to try to do some of the crazy stuff he did. My most memorable (and most favorite) was when I tried to pretend there were duplicates of me.
