Ooh yes, those poor war profiteers! Is there no justice? What a relatable story.

Tell the story of the guy who created Tetris. It's basically the same and the protagonist is someone that actually people would actually WANT to be rich.

Yes, that’s correct. As a citizen of the USSR at the time, the State owned him and his 1984 creation. Do tell how much royalties he received from it before 1996.

Yeah, exactly. So tell THAT story. Nobody wants gun manufacturers to get rich - that's a part of capitalism that leaves a bad taste in the mouths of normal people who can feel empathy because they still have their souls.

Actually about half the nation or more wants them to get rich. Speak for yourself.

With no pro sports in the USSR, how many members of the Russian national Olympic hockey team which lost to the US team retired as multi-millionaires?

Adam Smith | OH. PEOPLE ARE DICKS. YEAH, THIS ISN'T GOING TO WORK OUT AT ALL | image tagged in adam smith | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Who needs to be a multi-millionaire?
What is the point of having more money than you can spend in your lifetime?

Being stupidly rich doesn't make people happy, it's been researched. After people have their basic needs taken care of and are financially comfortable enough to have options and pursue interests more money doesn't actually improve anything.
Wealth hoarding does ensure that some people die hungry, homeless and unable to access healthcare though.

Adam Smith actually thought Capitalism would involve people using all excess wealth to support people and causes that needed it, not virtue signalling token gestures but actual support.

He obviously didn't count on people being so f**king greedy and lacking in compassion.

He assumed we would be a Christian nation. Boy was he wrong!
Those are all Christian values.

Nope. Atheist's values are either traditional (passed down from Christianity) or they are about looking after yourself, much closer to satanism than anything else.
Hindu values? Which demon like Hindu god are we talking here?

Ahaha!

"Passed down from Christianity", that's hilarious. You think religion came before people?

In Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism, dāna is the practice of cultivating generosity. It can take the form of giving to an individual in distress or need. It can also take the form of philanthropic public projects that empower and help many.

Hinduism is older than Christianity, Christianity is renowned for co-opting aspects of other religions.

You only celebrate Christmas in Winter because it was a pre-existing festival.

Re: December 2004 Asian tsunami disaster. This is in addition to 900 million from US gov’t

Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University in Indianapolis, has released a new study that reports individuals, corporations, and foundations in the United States donated a total of $3.16 billion toward relief efforts.

The report finds that combined gifts of individuals nationwide accounted for the overwhelming majority of disaster relief donations. The 25 percent of American households that contributed to tsunami relief gave a combined total of $2.78 billion, while another $340 million came from corporations and $40 million came from foundations.

See, again, "Under capitalism, throwing a ball super well can make you rich" is also not the slam dunk argument you think it is to people who are critical about capitalism and its priorities.

Some say capitalism is bad, but here in capitalist 'Murica you can make money off others' misery through the perpetuation of forever wars, so actually capitalism is GOOD! I am very intelligent!

Guns are used to protect yourself from invaders and from the government. They are weapons of peace.
