If he's talking about Jesus' Crucifixion, that was 2K years ago, LONG before USA was around, He was 33 years old, this was a punishment established by Romans, enabled by Jewish Pharisees, and it's kind of one of the core beliefs of Christianity, in a plan set by God in ways we as people can never comprehend on earth. Not to mention, that whole "death" thing lasted 3 days for Him.
