They did. Trump got every recount he was entitled to under the law. All 60+ of his lawsuits (only one of which he won) were given due consideration. This election was more heavily scrutinized than any other, the only exception being the far closer 2000 election.

A defeated President doesn't get more investigation than he's entitled to just because he uses his Twitter megaphone to cry about it.

Fake news. The swing states legislatures did investigations and found mountains of fraud. Some even tried to recertify their electors, but were too late.

It’s not Congress’s role to investigate an election. It’s not a President’s role, either. The Constitution is clear that elections are governed by the states. (How wise our Founders were!)

The “precedent” Cruz cites is unique and uniquely terrible.

I prefer the precedent of every other election in our history where the loser didn’t throw a temper tantrum and seek to toss millions of valid votes.
