Dude, there is no legal way in which Congress can change the results of the election. The people chose how their states swing, the states voted for Biden in turn, and all that's left is for Congress to count (not change or swing, just execute the formality of counting) the EC votes.

Don't be a willful idiot. There is no legal way the election can be flipped. Congress won't do it, the courts won't back it, and the people won't stand for it.

I very clearly said that you were wrong in accusing 30,000 people of staging a coup because it's obvious from the video and photos released that only a few hundred were storming the Capitol. I then very clearly identified these idiots as far-righties acting in contravention of the wishes of the legitimate protestors, which logically means they are acting on contravention of the 1st Amendment.

Therefore I did in fact agree with you that storming the House is outside the protections of the 1st because it crossed the line from peaceful disagreement (which we can all do) to actively trying to suppress or otherwise harm the democratic process (which no one can do).

This article says there were hundreds of attackers, which is in line with videos and photos I've seen thus far online. This one notes that there were thousands of protestors in the general area. I heard there were several thousand on EWTN as I was driving home from the firm, so let's assume there were 4,000 in the immediate Capitol area.

Now, if out of 4,000 only "hundreds" were noted by CNN to have directly attacked the Capitol, then it logically follows that the rest were indeed folks doing nothing more than peacefully exercising their 1st Amendment rights, even if their cause is more hopeless than trying to save the Titanic with nothing but duct tape.

Notice I never said the Guard wasn't deployed, and indeed acknowledged that this was a violent assault on democracy.
