I'm just creeped out that I heard it in Don Knott's voice.

Pressuring Georgia's secretary of state to change the result and write it off as "we miscounted" doesn't mean anything to you guys?

Did you listen to the entire phone call? It is obvious, if you did, that he was saying that there are votes missing.

That is not obvious at all.

Most of the time when it's mentioned, it's in context of how many he "needs to find".

There is a big difference between saying "there are votes missing..." ......and "I need you to find X number of votes"....

Here are some relevant chunks of that conversation:

"So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have because we won the state....."

"They’re shredding ballots because they think we’re going to eventually get there . . . because we’ll eventually get into Fulton. In my opinion, it’s never too late. . . . So, that’s the story. Look, we need only 11,000 votes.."

"I don’t know, look, Brad. I got to get . . . I have to find 12,000 votes, and I have them times a lot. And therefore, I won the state...."

"So what are we going to do here, folks? I only need 11,000 votes. Fellas, I need 11,000 votes. Give me a break. You know, we have that in spades already......"

"No, we do have a way, but I don’t want to get into it. We found a way . . . excuse me, but we don’t need it because we’re only down 11,000 votes, so we don’t even need it. I personally think they’re corrupt as hell. But we don’t need that. All we have to do, Cleta, is find 11,000-plus votes...."

"And the real truth is, I won by 400,000 votes. At least. That’s the real truth. But we don’t need 400,000 votes. We need less than 2,000 votes..."

Darko's half-baked conspiracy theory #937- Trump planned this phone call in order to plead insanity later.

You need to listen to the entire thing. These quotes seem bad, without context.

I read the transcript.. In and out of context, it looks incredibly bad.

He blathers on about fraudulent (extra) ballots...not missing ballots.

Even when he mentions them allegedly "shredding ballots" (which was investigated and found to have been from a previous election), he somehow fails to actually mention that he wants them to "find ballots" among the shredded ones....... And I think that would be your best argument here but it would still be laughable considering "because we’re only down 11,000 votes" was part of the conversation. Interesting "coincidence" that the amount of votes he was down was how many he wanted them to find.

So you're telling me, you READ the 1.5 hour long call?

I wanted to paste exact quotes from him. And you can't copy/paste quotes from an audio recording.

I read the transcript from the link I sent. And like so many other off the cuff trump conversations, it was a semi-incoherent nightmare.

So was there like a specific quote you're talking about that justified the 6 quotes I posted? What specific "context" are you talking about?

""if you listen to the entire call, he was asking a question."

Yes... And the question he was asking was: can you "find" thousands of votes for me because that's how many I need to win.

At this point it seems there are 6 quotes supporting my claim and zero supporting yours.. Let me know when you have one.

Facts not feelings right?"

You're too stubborn to be argued with.

In a conversation I have every day with my family, someone could record it and make it anything they'd like. But, if the recording was fully listened to, then the made-up story would be, well, made up. The same thing is true for this call. Trump's selected quotes make him sound bad, but if you listen to the entire call, he was asking a question.

Just imagine for a moment if this was January 2017, and it was Clinton making that call.
Double standard.

0 ups, 4y
He didn't, but that would be wrong. Especially coming from the sitting Vice-President.

If Clinton was making the call, then I would think no different. Trump was obviously investigaton. Don't be a fool.
