Not really. Very few of his ideas are outside of the typical Tea Party Republican.
With the exception of his blatant support of bail-outs for farmers for his failed trade war and gun confiscation because he believed that that was what Democrats really wanted to open negotiations. The only time Republicans wrangled the Don was on the latter notion. They naturally couldn’t have their figurehead start saying the very things they warned Democrats would do if they took majority or sat in the Oval Office, now could they?
