Actually just about all systems except for constitutional republic are systems put in place by tyrants and despots to get the people to accept totalitarian rule. Each has slight variations but all end the same.
Only a system where the people get a say, and where people that are greedy and power hungry are played against each other (2+ branches of government) can work.
