No shit, sherlock. But when Trump pardoned somebody, it was for.purely political reasons. That's not what pardons are meant for.

You don’t know a thing about history. Or the law. Pardons are historically used to free political prisoners of all kinds.

But not ones that are directly tied to the President and his personal benifit.

That's right. And Trump dangled the pardon as a reward for Stone and Manafort's silence. That's just plain corruption. Where's Michael Cohen's pardon?

Not true. A few of the most recent ones were. This is ALWAYS the case with EVERY President. Again, history says otherwise. As do the numbers if you check trumps total number of pardons.

Stone and Manafort weren't political prisoners. They were partners in a criminal enterprise.

The worst of all though was Rod Blagojevich—who got 14 years in federal prison for saying “this is golden” on a wire tap while talking about the opportunity to refill the senate seat left when Barack Obama was elected president. His charging, trial and beyond excessive sentence was entirely political and carried out by team Obama. He was not a Trump supporter or friend. He is a democrat. This stuff is entirely political. This country is just like Mexico now when it comes to locking up political opponents.

Stone was locked up for something they claim he said, but since the president was found not guilty, his so called process crime (which would net anyone else a few years in jail) should have been dismissed, instead the wanted to put him away for like 40 years. The jury was compromised, being entirely made up of democrats, and the jury foremen tweeted about how she hated Roger a few days before being selected.
The corruption is rampant.
