If you just flag a comment, then any site Mod can respond to it, but you could always contact a Mod directly through a comment or Memechat and link the comment

The other two Community Mods that I see hanging around politics (not naming names) are firmly in the Trump tank. They might be convinced to whack a purge alt, since it’s already been done 1000 times before, or delete a blatantly obvious death threat, but when it comes to more complex developing topics like the Trump slow-coup I’m pretty sure they would be obtuse. They disagreed with the decision to ban Timber1972.

They were made Community Mods after lengthy participation on the site and positive interaction with memers in general. Prior to their appointment as mods, they each would have made the Top 10 Fave list of most long term memers here, myself included.

Be careful what you wish for, the admin has been aiming at cleaning up lately (witness what happened to Timber1972, one of the most prominent and esteemed voices here) and that may seem all cool when you assume that means 'the other side,' until you find out you're on the list.

For example, that's the 2nd comment I saw you make threatening physical violence today. Granted, ain't gonna happen IRL, but if the mods were to deal with such as you call for, you'd have been deleted.

Finlayson jokes around, he’s an old-school ImgFlipper, he maintains good relations with his other Community Mods, he usually stays pretty politically neutral — but he’s also done some good things for me, and at the end of the day, I think he’s better equipped to make tough judgment calls than some of the others.

I don’t know if authorities would get involved unless it gets extremely serious (like someone posting child porn repeatedly) or the hot talk on this platform translates into real-world violence the way it has in the past on alt-right “free speech” platforms like 8Chan which are even more poorly/not moderated at all.
