Nah. But, sometimes your lengthier replies remind me of myself... which makes it abundantly clear to me why some people find me annoying (but only when I'm long-winded, of course! 👀)
So, in addition to your somewhat mildly unexpected comment about voting for McCain, would I be wrong to infer you may have voted for Mitt in 2012? Pure speculation on my part, but that's only because he's also viewed as a moderate republican.
Of course the media loves him now that he's perceived as anti-Trump. That doesn't change the fact that both he and McCain were painted by the same media as neo-nazis when they each ran against Obama. Biden even lied to a mostly Black audience when he said republicans want to put them back in chains. That was a shameful lie.
You certainly rattled off more criticisms of McCain than reasons why you voted for him. Although those reasons are representative, imo, of why most people vote for who they vote for, meaning the candidate they disagree with less.
If I were the type of person who viewed the world in a more ones and zeroes manner, I might not be able to understand why you can now call McCain a 'true American patriot', while criticizing him as you did. Still, that doesn't change my opinion that your view of him now is far more favorable because Trump trashed him. That criticism in light of your comment, might even be viewed as supporting my contention.
I watched the same election in 2008 that you did. What I find interesting is your apparent memory gap about the media and the weaker minded liberals trashing McCain as a neo-nazi. These are the same types we have now, who need to lick their finger and stick it in the air to see which way the wind is blowing before they decide where they stand on an issue.
"Biden never overly excited me..." said almost all of the less than 74 million people who actually voted for him. (well, legally voted for him... hehehe...)
I've made my feelings about Sundowner Joe evident. The only thing new in a Harris-Biden administration will be an utter lack of availability to the media, and zero transparency. And when he does engage the media, it will be in entirely controlled situations. The vast majority in the media won't complain, since they're his toadies anyway. Although imo, it should give *all* Americans cause for concern about who is calling the shots.
