The *logic* behind your meme, borrowed time, is not even logic.
Ask yourself this question: Why do democrat politicians want to reward poor behavior, and punish good behavior? (because that's all this is at its core...) The answer is incredibly obvious. If you don't understand it, no amount of explaining will help you.
Th rest of this isn't the answer to that question. It's common sense, and it supports the answer to the question.
1. People who worked their asses off while in college, to pay for their own education and not have student loan debt after graduating and getting a job, should not have to pay back student loans for those who did not work their asses off in college.
I know many people who fall into this category, and essentially democrats are telling them they were stupid to work so hard. Besides, I don't want to have to pay for someone else being lazy twice. Once to subsidize an impractical Art History degree, and twice for being unemployable with that degree and having to go on welfare.
2. Parents who sacrificed and saved all their lives to pay for their child's education, so their child would graduate from college without student loan debt, should not have to pay back the student loans for those children whose parents did not do so (for whatever reason.)
3. People who never went to college, but have good jobs and pay a lot to the govt in the form of taxes, should not have to pay the student loan debt for those who did. The money comes from only one source, because nothing is *free* and the govt doesn't actually earn money by anything productive it does. That source is taxpayers.
This is nothing more than one segment of society subsidizing another segment for something that is entirely optional.
Paying off student loan debt is the democrat party trying to divide us, by class, culture, or otherwise.
So much for uniting the country! Thanks Sundowner Joe, and Commie-la Harris!

There are plenty of resources with information about ways to graduate from college debt free. The links below are just two. This is not rocket science.
