It's only 2 times deadlier than the flu. I am neither 70 years old nor 700 pounds. I would survive. But I also wouldn't be a dick to people who are in those 2 groups for that reason.

1.5 million people using food banks in NYC right now. 2.4 million deaths by all causes this year when we average 2.8 million a year, so no excess deaths. Opioid overdoses and teen suicide at all time highs. I am afraid that the poverty that 1/3 of this country will see in 2021 will be staggering unless there is some way to do a stimulus that does not cause massive inflation. The cure is worse than the disease.
