I’ve been wondering about something. A high percentage of my submissions seem to take between 2-5 hours to feature, with 4 hours being about average. This includes standard “featured” templates as well as custom templates that I use. I look in the newly featured section, only to see many custom templates featured in less than one hour. Am I being penalized for some reason? If so, why?

Not that I’m aware of. From what I’ve seen, they have actually been approving images that were submitted years ago so they should be caught up on current images.

I see that PoliticsToo is modded by people on the left. If Politics is dominated by folks on the right, why doesn’t imgflip allow it to be modded by people on the right?

Because the politics/politicsTOO comparison is a false equivalency. The politics stream allows for both right and left viewpoints, while politicsTOO would never allow a post even remotely pro-Trump. A more apt comparison would be to compare the politicsTOO stream to the conservatives stream, which is modded by right wingers and doesn't feature left wing memes.

That was supposed to be a question. Would it be asking too much for imgflip to have equal representation of mods in the Politics stream?

One one mod, Ser.Donald, is a confirmed liberal. Kate and I are conservatives and I don’t know where Andrew and acuity would be politically.

Not sure if klinkster is liberal or not, but I’ve seen a few of his comments that one can assume he’s not a fan of the orange man. Out of curiosity, is Dylan = acuity or Ser Donald?

the politicsTOO steam was made because a lot of pro-left memes would get called reposts while a lot of pro-right memes literally had a made with mematic watermark or a watermark from some other site would still get featured, and there were far more righties making memes/comments in the politics stream so they would drown out lefties' memes and comments. PoliticsTOO is left leaning (it's why it was made), but it seems that it's a smoother stream for debates because there's a bit less name calling and not as many trolls.
