Silly conservative. Dont you realise that liberals can rationalise absolutely anything...
Even a guy getting arrested for voter fraud isn't evidence of voter fraud in liberal land..

By all means let’s talk affidavits

You certainly have a raging hardon for this document. You whip it out every chance you get, whether it's on topic or not.

Heck, I recall the time you used it to counter my argument that if the Hunter Biden laptop had been the Eric Trump laptop, and the names of Biden family members were switched out for Trump family members, and it was Eric Trump who was the crack addicted child pornographer / abuser, that the media would have been all over it.

Anyone with any objectivity would agree with that, but not you, KF! Your affidavit argument is invalidated!

Admittedly I do have raging hard-ons for documents that implicate the Trumps. It’s just my thing I guess

Here’s another one: as on- or off- topic as you like

Do you remember where we saw this one before?

Where there's smoke, there's usually fire. Unfortunately for you, that affidavit didn't produce any smoke. If it had, the media would have been all over it.

Okay, I'll bite. What is this *trumped up* document? 👀

It has been a couple years since I read the Steele dossier... I hope this isn't from that proven piece of fictional trash.

My point today is simple: That accepting the validity of signed affidavits at face-value may not necessarily be the direction Trump supporters wanna go with this

You’re better off reverting back to: “well, how can we know the truth! anyone can sign an affidavit!”

Indeed

Anyone can sign an affidavit.

Vigorous cross-examination of witnesses under oath in the presence of a judge and jury is typically better.

That said, most people make it through life without being sued in federal court by witnesses signing documents under oath accusing them of child rape

But not Epstein!

And not Trump either

Then let them have their day in court and be cross-examined. that's how they found out that the ones coming out against Trump were full of s***. they were discredited by their own contradictory statements. People saying to these witnesses that they have to back off and everyone should just let this happen are the ones who are subverting the process of law.
0 ups, 4y
Ah but they have been; go and read about how these witnesses held up under cross-examination

Tl;dr not well

Most people are not as wealthy as Trump. When they are, they tend to be targets for all kinds of lunatics who come crawling out of the woodwork.

Everybody wants somebody else's money for nuthin, or is jealous of the wealthy and want to take them down. And by everybody, I means whiny liberals. 🤷‍♂️

Okay, okay, it's not fair for me to characterize behavior like that based on party affiliation. Jealousy is entirely human. Although I think it is fair to note that liberals want the govt to redistribute wealth to a far greater extend than conservatives do, which makes the wealthy more attractive targets.

Test your knowledge of the rate of voter fraud here

You mean the rate of detected voter fraud.
0 ups, 4y
If it’s not detected, it’s totally speculative.

Before we do that, why don't we test your knowledge of what "credible studies" means. As per usual KF, you like to make it up as you go.

You have heard of the Carter-Baker Commission, I presume? And to nip your predictable reply in the bud, president Carter had called for an increase in voting by mail for the 2020 election, but only if the inherent opportunities for fraud in voting by mail were addressed. Nobody would say that Philadelphia, birth place of our nation, is a paradigm of political fairness.

From the Carter Center, comes this:

"The nonpartisan 2005 Commission on Federal Election Reform, co-chaired by former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and former Secretary of State James A. Baker III, noted among its many findings and recommendations that because it takes place outside the regulated environment of local polling locations, voting by mail creates increased logistical challenges and the potential for vote fraud, especially if safeguards are lacking or when candidates or political party activists are allowed to handle mail-in or absentee ballots."

The last half of that last sentence should not be lost on anyone, particularly you. Though it clearly has been.

I'm not saying the fraud was on a scale significant enough to change the outcome of the 2020 election, but there's certainly that possibility. If Trump's lawyers can't prove it, then it doesn't matter if it happened or not.

I'm sure you don't recall that I boldly predicted (see what I did there? hehehe... boldly...) before the election that the opportunity for voter fraud was so significant, that whichever side was better at cheating would be the winner. It's pretty clear which side is better at cheating.

We just had the largest election in history, by a long-shot, and the logistical (and foreign hacking) fears I had going into it turned out to not happen. It was the most secure election in history, as Trump’s own cyber-security guy said before he was fired in blatant retaliation.

I was surprised at the strength of Republican support that beat the polls in a large number of states.

What we’re witnessing is the meltdown of our narcissistic oaf of a President and his chief enablers, esp. Giuliani whose credibility was shot to pieces a long time ago but he keeps finding new ways to fall further.

Most recently, the brilliant mob prosecutor who hasn’t stepped inside a federal courtroom in almost 30 years got his ass handed to him by the PA Attorney General. G. knows a lot about bloviating but not so much about election law or what kind of evidence he would need to prove his grand sweeping conspiracies.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-election-2020/pennsylvania-rudy-giuliani-court-sad-b1725043.html%3famp

The 2020 elections were not the Democratic landslide I hoped for, but I they were a triumph of democracy nonetheless.

These haphazard attempts to use the courts to overthrow an election that actually went pretty well for Republicans other than POTUS are getting tossed out by competent Democratic and Republican-appointed judges left and right.

Tl;dr It’s a good day for American democracy.

Now excuse me while I go drink some more salty Rightie tears

Arguing like a liberal requires command of facts; it is not reliant on rhetorical questions that are easily answered and don’t even advance your own point.

I will answer your question and show you why it does not

Indeed, voter fraud exists and occurs at an exceedingly rare rate; there’s no evidence it occurs at an institutional level (which would require the involvement of huge numbers of insiders and coordination between election officials of both parties), or that the minuscule amount of fraud that occurs systematically benefits either party.

My meme references a typical case of voter fraud, involving an outspoken Trump supporter whose mother died in 2015; he requested a ballot for her anyway.

That’s right: a dead person who voted for Trump. And it’s becoming typical of Trump supporters because they believe Trump’s statements in spite of evidence that the system is riddled with voter fraud and figure they may as well get in on the action.

Mind blown yet?

Yeah I don't think voter fraud existed at an exceedingly rare rate This Election. What was that about the 1st person charged with a voting crime in 30 years?

You don't need for their to be more than one or two people commuting fraud to swing close elections, https://www.nbclosangeles.com/news/local/pair-charged-with-voter-fraud-allegedly-submitted-thousands-of-fraudulent-applications-on-behalf-of-homeless-people/2464168/

Ouch. You don't normally seem like the type that's prone to kneejerk, emotion-laced replies.

I'm sure you realize this is a meme site, right KF?

Besides, I thought you knew from first hand reading, that when the situation warrants, I'm perfectly capable of detailed (hell, even long-winded) back and forth arguments, right?

I *should* be insulted by your reply. 🤣😂
