Okay, I'll simplify for you. There's nothing wrong with being a democrat. Not for a person, and not for a state.

Descending into the anti-Constitutional madness that democrats here in Corruptifornia have, or the militant left wing of the democrat party as it's currently constituted, is not okay, imo. Suppressing free speech, and promoting violence against those with whom they disagree, both trademarks of the modern democrat party, are not okay, period.

Now some editorializing; I'm registered to vote with no party affiliation, and have been since I turned 18. I've voted for many democrats; probably as many democrats as republicans, if not more. Up until 4 years ago, I evaluated the candidate and their positions independent of party. I don't blindly vote republican now, because they have many warts, but I no longer seriously consider voting for a democrat. At least not until they show they're not truly representative of what a large segment of their party stands for.

And yet, Biden’s margin of victory in the 5 states that put him over the top in the Electoral college is only about 200,000. And most of that comes from just two states: MI and PA. In GA, WI, and AZ the margin of Biden’s victory was only between 10,000 and 20,000.

In other words, the Electoral College wiped away about 5.5 million of Biden’s votes.

This may, and I hope it does, cause a certain number of liberals who live in solid blue states fo consider moving to a state where their vote for President and U.S. Senator actually matters.

The founders were significantly more intelligent than you, or I, and (supposedly, as a lawyer) you should know that the Constitution protects all of our rights, particularly of those in the minority against the possible oppression of the majority.

The founders were keenly aware that without the EC, it could easily mean exactly what would happen now if we didn't have the EC, which is a large state (e.g. Taxifornia) controlling the outcome of a federal election. In 2016, HRC's margin of victory in the popular vote was *less* than her margin of victory in California. We are the United States of America, not the United State of California.

And as for liberals moving from Corruptifornia, I will be happy to help them pack and get the hell out. That certainly couldn't make it any worse here than it is now, that's for damn sure.
