I get ya, don't worry. The entire, 'who's to blame for COVID' issue is far more nuanced than people make it seem. On the one hand, outbreaks within states are entirely the fault of the governors of those states, who (in that situation) have more authority than the President. On the other, Trump's actions that he could legally make (I.E at a national level only unless specifically asked for help) ranged from highly effective (mobilizing Navy assets when New York was the biggest hotspot) to ineffective (only banning travel from China and not Europe). Even worse though, people have taken many of his actions and blown them out of proportion (he never actually said to inject yourself with bleach, and he did try to lock the country down earlier than most).
That's just COVID...as we all know, there are dozens of controversies over which people love or hate the man.
