It's not funny that flu deaths have dropped. It's normal. Flu deaths go way down in the summer.

Spend some time reading up on the seasonal cycle of the flu. It doesn't "go away" in the summer. People still get it. But cases go down because we spend so much more time outside in the summer, so we're not close to each other for as long a period of time.

We do care that people are suffering. And the fastest way to address those issues would be making sure people have access to quality mental health care. That way they can get the help they need. Saying "f**k it" and go on like it's no big deal that we're in the middle of pandemic is not a solution.
