Not Jan. The election needs to be certified by sometime Dec. After that you could end up with a convention to elect the President.

I couldn't find the exact date. Imagine if the lawsuits are still going on at this time and not enough states get certified to actually call the election. Democrats need either to shoot down lawsuits quickly or stop stalling so the issues are resolved before the deadline.

Democrats don't have to do anything. Although, I am hearing from unverified sources that Democrats (or liberal groups) are filing counter lawsuits... which as I have no detail of that I'm not prepared to discuss. What appears to be happening is that the local courts are asking for the evidence required to begin a trial and the lawyers, despite the so-called overwhelming evidence, cannot seem to produce it. Without a trial, it cannot be taken to the higher courts as Trump wishes. It is not on the Democrats to get it to the deadline, but the Republicans. Democrats may stall purposely, but at this time, I see no reason why they would.

December 14th. There is a deadline. Not to mention it's unconstitutional to throw out votes that were previously sanctioned as legal by a change of rule after the votes have been cast. The fraudulent votes have already been removed during the process.

That isn't going to happen. They cannot postpone Biden getting into office without creating a constitutional crisis. And while Trump is certainly capable of that, I'm not sure he has the legal and bureaucratic support he needs to do such a thing. Not even with McConnell and potentially the Supreme Court.

Just quickly, I can not explain the following well enough to put it on here, I am just stating what I heard/know about it.
There are at least 2 avenues in which the results of this election can be declared null and void and those are not related to the current court cases but inbuilt into the constituition.
One of those avenues is something like Dec 8 is reached and all states do not have a result to report by the 14th of Dec. Then the current sitting members of the Senate and one other set of people (not reps I don't think) vote and declare who they want as president and Vice president. This follows along the lines of how we already vote people to represent on our behalf.
Sorry for the vagueness but as i wrote at the beginning I'm not clued enough, you should be able to find details of the other 2 avenues of which i wrote in detail.
The provisions are in the constiuition and do not require any sitting representatives vote to enact they are procedure as written.

Do you understand that even Republicans are seeing how toxic this administration has been for this country? Trump and his cronies are going to pull out every trick in their mobster playbook but ultimately, more people in this country want Trump gone than want another 4 years of this madness. So Trump is going to play legal games by suing states so that they can't certify their results in time, hopefully kicking it back to the Leg and SCOTUS to decide the election for the country, instead of accepting the will of the people? How would I know what he is going to do. Clearly people on this thread lacked some knowledge in regard to the times when things needed to happen by as well as knowledge of possibilites and that's all I'm providing here. As I have written I don't have enough expertise to be thorough.

All I will say is if there's nothing to hide why fight the recount. It satisfies (hopefully anyway) the disgrutled party and absolves the other hopefully. Win win.

There is also a 2018 executive order in regard to foreign election interference and the ODNI (ODNI i think) need to have preliminary findings available within 45 days of the election day. This 2018 executive order is why the partys have both said the election is the most secure ever. Most Dems probably missed the E.O it because they were too busy with Russia,Russia,Russia.

What will people be saying and doing if it becomes apparent that these dominion machines with their South American programming and oversees servers really have altered things as seen in Vote Tallys on live TV/Cable?

No they wouldn't. If Trump won and there was widespread voter fraud either way, they wouldn't care. This is all about not wanting to accept that they lost. Look at what happened in 2016. Trump publicly invited a hostile foreign state to interfere with our Democracy. And then they hacked his opponents and leaked a bunch of emails to the public about them. That was clear election interference. Not to mention Giuliani pulling his tricks with the phantom laptop and pressuring Comey to reopen the investigation two weeks before the election.

Did any of them care about the sanctity of our electoral process in the great US of A then? Did we hear anything from them about how the American people deserved a fair election? Hell no. They didn't give a f*ck. They were willing to win at any costs and screw anyone who got in their way. So yea, sorry but I'm not buying all the pearl clutching now. Exactly. Maybe Trump really got even less votes than what it appears now. We already know there have been a couple Trumpers charged with fraudulently registering and submitting fake votes for Trump.
