You do realize the machine the ballot goes into counts the votes, the only reason for a delay is because more ballots are being forcefed into the machine. You are right about it not being rocket science, it's simple math. There is absolutely no reason counts should not be totalled by the end of election day. Vote in person early or on election day or have your absentee ballot in before election day. It's not rocket science...

Republicans blocked efforts to begin counting or even verifying absentee ballots before election day in Pennsylvania.... I'm assuming this was done to prevent "voter fraud", which cannot occur on election day because reasons.
