Last time my dad & i both had nightmares where Hillary won. This time we watched a K-drama at night so i wasn’t thinking entirely about politics. However, i expected a result at least by 10. Last election there was a result by 2 AM.

I don’t believe what they’re saying. They are wayyy too calm today. They’ve been adamant about how much they despise trump & want him out of office by all means but today they’re way too calm.

i belive the votes that havent come in are mostly democratic mail in ballots, or early votes that they havent checked yet, maybe also democratic. if you watch the live coverage, they go over how many paths each candidate has to win. biden has a few more than trump, i dont know the numbers.

If most of the mail-ins are democrat, then Biden almost has to win. However, this long time taking gives ppl time 2 cheat with the non mailed ballots. I don’t think trump should be acting the way he is today, but i totally understand why he is.

The elections aren't done until the various Secs of State sign off on them. Sometimes it takes California a month to finish.

if it wasnt allowed, that would be called voter suppression. i would want to send it in early, but you can turn in an assignment in school the day when its due, and it wouldnt be called cheating.

In a number of states, mail-in ballots can not be counted until polls close. So it would make sense that votes are still being counted.

They are. I've been voting since the late 80s, and there have always been late reportings of mail in ballots. There are just more of them this time because of the pandemic.

I heard something pretty messed up, saying that mail-in ballots are to be counted AFTER the conventional ballots and that would take 'more' time.

That's actually my dad's theory on why there aren't nearly as many covid-19 deaths in Africa as in the rest of western civilization, because they have much stronger immune systems due to not having as good health care systems.

There's another thing to, apart from wut ye said, little children get a lot of vaccinations in the South Asian region because of tropical diseases that don't exist in America. So their immune system is battle-hardened from a very young age.

Truth, though. I was thinking that third-world kids don't have to worry about a virus that's more of a comorbidity than a full-on killer.
