If you mean Trump, afaik he didn't change anything, although he did get a bit zealous in enforcing them, perhaps.

But then again, given the situation with coyotes and human trafficking, perhaps Obama didn't get zealous enough.

He did actually change them. They do a genetic test and if they really are related or they can show some Mexican paperwork, they are not separated from their families.
They sure aren't kept in cages anymore. They go to better facilities than I had when I was a kid living in the US.
