Wasn't both Muslims and Christians told they couldn't gather for worship due to covid? The First Amendment is all but abolished. While everyone is squabbling at each other for being democrat or republican, pale or brown, fighting a fight they started and encourage, they are slowly pulling the blinds down on everyone.
Everyone is too busy virtue signaling, trying to counter the lies the media tells about them, or trying to look good for the media, that no one questions why Americans are being divided into minorities and communities based on skin color? We are Americans! Call us Americans! Put the United back in United States of America! What are they afraid of!
They know people who are emotionally driven are the easiest to control. I have been caught up in the flame wars before. All it does is blind one to what is really going on. So the media pumps out junk labeled "breaking news" that is really emotional appeal propaganda. People shuts down a different opinion rather than listening and countering with reason and logic. People hates rather than loves. All republicans are oppressive white males who are sexist racist bigots. All democrats are communist scum who wants to burn America to the ground. Is this sounding familiar?
As Aldous Huxley said: "The propagandist's purpose is to make one set of people forget that certain other sets of people are human."
I would say he hit the nail on the head and they have done a bloody good job at just that.
I don't know how things got so far out of hand. But if we can't change the way this is going we are all going to lose. We the people that is. The ones who have been pulling the strings will come out on top.
