Just to play devil's advocate, however, he was commenting on "how ordinary white Americans think" - he certainly can't comment on how ordinary black, red, yellow, or brown Americans think if he's not one of those groups now, could he? If he did, he would most likely be accused of cultural appropriation.
Perhaps we can agree that zaklog shouldn't try to speak for "ordinary" people of any kind, that's what I'm more triggered about.
