Congress wrote the tax code. Trump just used it. Let’s see Pelosi and Schumer’s taxes.

Y'all do NO research and it's so stupid that you think nobody's going to check you.

So what? Let the IRS come after Trump if he did anything illegal.

Even if it's legal, it's immoral, it shows how tax laws favor the rich, and it shows that Trump is a piss poor businessman.

You mean because the Clintons and Obamas and Oprah pay more in taxes than the IRS requires? Nancy Pelosi and Nadler and Schummer pay more to the IRS in taxes than the IRS requires? No they do not, and yet -- mysteriously -- no leftist is calling those leftist multi-millionaires . . . immoral.

Most millionaires and billionaires are immoral.

Just like I thought, he didn’t pay more in taxes and he had to

25%? That's more than what I pay. Which makes sense because he's a senator.

And more to the point, you've had years to look it up yourself while you've been complaining about a hypocrisy that doesn't exist; it took me to tell you that he's happily released his tax returns because you're lazy as f**k.

Pres. Trump has every right to privacy as any other citizen. He has also donated every dollar of his Presidential salary to charity. How much did Sen. Schumer and his wife donate of their half a million combined salaries? In 2018? - $0

To be clear: a man of Trump'a wealth bracket should be paying much more than $400,000 in taxes.

Chuck Schumer, as you can see from the returns you couldn't be bothered to read yourself, pays about a third of that already and billionaires are, by definition, at least a thousand times more wealthy than a millionaire. Trump's tax bill should be in the millions. The presidential salary doesn't cover this. It doesn't even come close.

To be clear: there is much you and I don’t know about tax law. Until you are thoroughly educated and trained on accounting and tax law, you have no right to say anything about Trump’s taxes.

Here is just a little clue:

I recommend reading the part on corporate tax deferral.

What. Absolute. Bullshit. I know enough about taxes to know that when the President pays hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxes to foreign governments but $750 to ours, something has gone very wrong.

Maybe you don’t have the whole story.

AND WHOSE FAULT IS THAT???????

True! Now we have proof that Trump is a pitifully inept businessman and a serial tax avoider crushed by massive debts.

Business, investing. corporations, real estate, financing have complicated accounting and tax computations. The big world of business, investing and real estate allows for many tax advantages and DEFERAL of taxes. It’s not just cut and dried like an employee having earned income. It’s a whole different world that takes expert CPAs and tax attorneys to understand and take vantage of. When a business person gets to that level of involvement, it takes expert guidance to not make mistakes and over pay taxes. If you think Trump understands the ins and outs and intricacies of the tax code to pay no tax, you’re probably mistaken. But he certainly understands the general principles of the tax system to structure his deals to reduce and defer taxes as much as the law allows.

No actually he pays CPAs and tax professionals for that.

Trump has never filed personal bankruptcy once. Businesswise- His businesses have only filed bankruptcy four times…

“ Each time, the bankruptcy was a Chapter 11 filing. While Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy deal with personal bankruptcies, Chapter 11 is most often used by businesses filing for bankruptcy. Chapter 11 bankruptcy allows a financially struggling business to reorganize in order to keep going. A Chapter 11 filing can potentially enable a business owner to avoid liquidating the company. In fact, it can often be said that a Chapter 11 bankruptcy is in the best interests of the business and in no way a reflection of a poorly run company. PolitiFact took a look at all four of Trump’s Chapter 11 bankruptcies and determined that they were a result of business struggles largely beyond the billionaire-turned-presidential-candidate’s control.
