Kiss Reproductive Freedom Goodbye

Trolls. I remember when possession of birth control pills was against the law. We may be heading back to those days, thanks to the new activist Federal Court System brought to you by the Republicans and President Pandemic.

Moscow Mitch introduced a bill this year that would strengthen the Hyde Amendment's official government anti-abortion stance. It got 48 Republican Votes. Only Susan Collins and a couple of other brave souls voted against it. The short answer is, almost all of them are on record to at one time or another. It plays well with the so-called "evangelists."

Even Trump doesn't think he will be re-elected. He is looking for a way to make a loss a win. Trump Jr. is talking about a landslide. Currently, the Electoral College looks like something between 278-325 for Biden. If Biden wins by that amount, look for the Trump line "They said it was going to be a landslide." "We beat the landslide," etc. He still has a path, if all the polls prove to be off. But, after 2016, people are working overtime to get out the vote and they are underestimating pro-Biden tallies. Unless Putin hacks the system and adds votes, things do not look like 2016.

2016 I told folks I got one word for regarding Trump's chances of winning: George W Bush.

2020 I tell folks I got one word for regarding Trump's chances of winning: 2016.

The DNC is once again telling the base that the top brass's hand-picked candidate is just as sure a shot as their hand-picked candidate was in 2016.
Add to that panicking the base into mailing in their vote that's quite likely to not count while Trumpite's are encouraged to go out and show them how it's done, and a true cynic would wonder if they were deliberately trying to lose even worse than they did last time - not that the corrupt rich top brass would in any way gain personally from it *wink*

It's odd how consistently opposite of the truth leftist language is. They talk about "reproductive rights" when what they really mean is the freedom to not reproduce.

Of course, everyone has the freedom to not reproduce all the time. What they want is the freedom to engage in the act of reproduction but not get the results of that action. This is childish fantasy, like the desire to eat ice cream all day and not exercise or gain weight.

I wouldn't be surprised if your mother ever questioned her reproductive choices concerning you!
