Richard Spencer was a Trump supporter at the time he organized the Unite the Right rally. Spencer continued to support Trump right up until a few weeks ago, when he announced his surprise endorsement of Biden. He generally cited liberal competence and disagreement with the Soleimani strike. Those are certainly two of the reasons one might choose to vote Biden in '20.

However, I've seen no evidence Spencer's repudiated any of his underlying white nationalist beliefs.

As such, Biden & Co. rejected Spencer's endorsement swiftly and decisively; quite unlike Trump's tacit acceptance of it in '16.
