People laugh and talk about other behind their back all the time. The left doesn't usually get it, but Trump is extremely funny. That's part of the show. When he joked liking people who don't get captured, the right laughed. The left took it seriously and generated fake news saying he called all of the military losers.... clearly not getting the joke.
