It seems the vector of attack the Democrats have decided to use is to generate lots of fake news that has Trump insulting the military in an effort to interfere with the election. The problem is, there has been so much fake news which is so widely debunked, only someone on the radical left believes these wild allegations. For everyone else, it just makes the left look foolish for swimming in a lake of hoaxes, conspiracy theories and anonymous fake stories.
