No, it really doesn't make America great. It raises housing prices and lowers wages. It dilutes and destroys our culture. It destroys social trust. It's a disaster for actual Americans.

Illegal immigrants do that. Legal immigrants (who become citizens) are actual Americans, who enrich this country. However, illegal immigrants do exactly what you just described.

Really? So legal immigrants are not subject to the laws of supply and demand?

For that matter, Ilhan Omar is a *legal* immigrant. Isn't she such a blessing to our country? The Tsarnaev brothers were legal immigrants. Do you think any actual Americans might be the worse for their presence here?

And where are you when we try to pass expansions to legal immigration? Like the bipartisan bill in 2014 that Paul Ryan just sat on and never even floored for a vote?

Congress’ responsibility is to pass laws that benefit the citizens of this country, not citizens of another country. The administration is responsible for enforcing those laws. Since the Immigration Act of 1986, the immigration laws have not effectively been enforced by any administration. That’s why we have the situation we have today.

Well, that's how we know you don't care about legal immigration either. You just hate immigrants.

That’s a wild assumption to make considering you know nothing about me and it’s not a logical conclusion from the facts I stated

It really really is. You pretty much spelled it out right there. You JUST don't care that legal immigration reform and modernisation was a thing that tried to get passed about six years ago and you started waffling about outdated legislation instead. That speaks volumes. You've told on yourself more than you realize.

Oh typical, you can’t win the argument based on logic facts and reasons so you attack the person making the argument

I've explained my reasoning. Just because you didn't understand it, doesn't mean it's not there.

Your reasoning is invalid and fallacious.

So you want thousands more Americans to die from heroin and fentanyl overdoses from drugs sold by undocumented immigrants who come in here to distribute these drugs and also thousands have more lives destroyed by the crystal meth they sell. You just hate Americans

"Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show that more people die from legally prescribed drugs than from heroin and cocaine combined. The CDC has classified the situation as an “epidemic.”

What’s worse is that a study by the Journal of Public Policy and Marketing published earlier this year revealed that teens continue to be particularly vulnerable to the allure of prescription drugs because they perceive pharmaceuticals as being “blessed by a trusted institution": the Food and Drug Administration."-TheNewAmerican

Prescription drugs are a much bigger problem than illegal drugs.

In reference to your comment below -then we have two problems. The one you described doesn’t make the other one go away

So then, you’re an open borders person that wants all the MS 13 gang bangers to come in

Oh, I'm aware of that. My point, which you seem to have missed, is that you are choosing to focus on the less important of two connected issues because it fits a narrative that also relies on you making a sweeping generalization about a huge group of people.

He did say when "we" as in the Democratic party (And where are you when we try to pass expansions to legal immigration? ). So either they are from the Democratic party or they were speaking just affiliation but you can be pretty sure what they stand for without reading another thing they write about the subject.
It would seem they're not at all bothered by illegals who continue to break the laws on top of the immigration ones that all illegal immigrant do. Otherwise they wouldn't be so keen to support sanctuary cities amongst other things.
