It isn't that they don't obey orders. Its that they do something where the police officer thinks their life is in danger.

Yes, but it begins with an order to stop and comply and the person refusing. Then the Use of Force Continuum takes over and the situation escalates into a situation where the cop feels threatened.

I have been oulled over probably 15 times in my life. I have never had a problem with an officer. I always keep hands visible, use "sir" or "officer" & 1/3 of the time got a warning. The rest - paid my fines.

Weird - by dem statistics - I should have been shot at least twice by a cop by now.

I have been pulled over a few times too, most of them while carrying a gun. Same thing, don’t present a threat and follow instructions.

I haven't even shot a gun before - I own some sweet swords... But I don't believe that people shouldn't have guns if they want them.
