Cool. Make it a mandate, and anyone showing up to the polls without a mask gets offered a disposable one. If they refuse, they’re not allowed in for the sake of public health.

Or you could just get ok with people choosing to vote by mail.

General mail-in voting has been in place for years. They’re called absentee ballots. They haven’t been an issue in the past, and won’t be now.

Nothing wrong with absentee voting at all. But this idea the libs have of mail-ins has already opened the door to abuse.

No more open than with absentee ballots.

My grandmother, when she was very ill, registered for absentee voting, which entailed proving her identity, address and that she was a citizen. In other words, the legitimacy of who she claimed to be and that she was allowed to vote in her district documented by the voter registration office.

With social distancing, the lines to voting would be a mile long.

I don't know about the long lines. Hubby and I early voted in our State primaries, and the lines flowed nicely despite the social distancing and masks.
