CULTURAL APPROPRIATION? | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
Just putting the question out there...

It’s hilarious how all the lefties come on saying it’s not cultural appropriation when black people do it. And the managers are white so it hasn’t been appropriated as if that was any different than a white rapper and black producers.

The whole cultural appropriation argument is crap anyway. In a free country you can adopt any culture you want, people that don’t like it can go to hell. The bigger problem is denigration of white culture and history. It isn’t required if equality is what you seek.

The idea of cultural appropriation is stupid in the first place. Cultures borrow from one another all the time. If your culture sees something useful from another culture, such as cooking style, easier to build homes, or clothing that is better suited to daily life, there is no reason to not give it a try.
I have tried several ingredients not traditionally used in "white" cooking, simply because they were cheap. I then googled recipes for them. Most of the recipes we're not "white recipes" but saved me money while allowing me to feed my family.
One part of the problem is many have begun to treat culture with an almost religious reverence. It has been exalted and put on a pedestal, often treated as more important than a persons actual morals and values.

Nope. It’s the only purely honest answer. Cultural appropriation is as real as “hate crimes” i.e. it’s phony.

It's cultural appropriation because they took something that came from another culture and claiming it as their own. But you're missing the point that the idea of cultural appropriation is a stupid concept in the first place. Culture influence each other all the time. This was once considered a good thing, "the American melting pot".

Not to the topic at hand.

The topic is clearly not “who controls the play of basketball” But to your mistake, Nope. Each person chooses what they play. Owners and coaches have nothing to do with it.

But those who in life have self selected to play the game and rise to a competency up to the task of whatever level they chose to play at, be it school yard, high school, college or pro, the owners and coaches and administrators pick which of that set are in the game at any given time.

But that again is irrelevant to the topic that some persons have chosen to appropriate a game outside the bounds of their culture.

For shame.

(See CA is a stupid concept)

And what are the bounds of a black person's culture in sport?
