Have you ever been robbed at gun point ? I have , it's nothing to joke about ...get a clue !

And my cousin has once been robbed very violently and the robbers didn't use a gun, but that didn't make the situation any less threatening. Shows how much can be done without weapons. Still, did you think you'd be better off if you had a gun, knowing the robbers would shoot you before you had completed getting your gun out of the holster? If you have been threatened with a gun before you should know more than anyone else that once you're looking into the gun, the robbers are already masters of the situation. Showing you are not a threat to them will enlarge your chances to get off. Trying to get your gun (while your opponents are very likely less caring about having blood on their hands than you are) will only cause them to feel threatened and shoot. Having a gun is one thing... Having the skill and most of all the proper insight to use it is another. Shooting on the shooting track or acting in a panic situation, are two different things.

I've seen many people act though because they carry a weapon or are trained in martial arts or whatever. But when a real violent criminal comes only a few have what it takes to overpower them, no matter what weapons and fighting skills they have. Not to mention if you shot the robbers, you can get trouble with either the law, or the robber's friends. And then your gun brought you more trouble than when you were unarmed.

I've also have been physically assaulted too and badly injured not with a gun ...making a joke about criminal violence is never funny ...no matter what , Get a clue ,eh ?

Crime is never funny to the victim ...never joke about that ...its not funny, white collar crime hurts folks , robbery is violence its a violation of basic human rights , gun or not crime is wrong and should never be justified or should be joked about .

You know... Humor is an important way to show bad things. And don't think you are the only crime victim. I've had my own share as well, and even worse, the cops were very extremely rude to me when I reported those at the police department.... And I've also been through many other bad things... Jokes about those kept me alive. Jokes about the most terrible things is actually the most important thing that keeps everybody alive.

You may not like them, but the joke in the meme is actually rather a statement about the NRA itself than ridiculing the right to carry a gun and people who have been looking inside a gun itself, so maybe you need a clue about the meme it self, as you took offense over nothing.

Yes, we do know that the humor that keeps us alive my sometimes fall bad to some people, for understandable reasons even. However don't act like the anti-humor guru over these matters. Especially since this joke is rather a political statement, and an important one too. Jokes have always been the most important way to make statements like these.

I understand your trauma. Really I do... I've tons of traumas of my own, to be honest that you can scarcely imagine. Death threats not even been the worst thing I've endured. But I know one thing. You protest does rather come in as a way to block the statements about the NRA... Important statements that have to be made and with that you make an attack on democracy, and national security all over a personal trauma. A bit selfish, don't you think?
