to them, you're as privileged as me. raised myself, lived in poverty most my life, worked my way out after the military. half cuban half peurto rican. my skin is fairly white. if you didn't know me, you wouldn't guess my ethnicity. i have been called Kurdish at one point and in the same day Russian. i have been told to go back to my country.
say all this to mention...
a white university professor who had the audacity to say i have white privilege because i was basically white. no matter what, i was more privileged than LeBron's kids. i had no room to speak.
your background, character, etc. doesn't matter to these people. they care about skin color...which is racist.
