Spot on. Of course there's no science involved. When a liberal tells you that we must "follow the science" that's progressive-speak (aka code words or a dog whistle, to throw their favorite term back in their faces) for being forced to do what they tell us to, because they say so, all the while attempting to placate us by dipping the turd in chocolate so we won't realize we're being played.

It was kinda weird they kept using that phrase new normal in the very beginning of this pandemic like they knew there was going to be some sort of change coming. How would they know that?

It's easy Bluessol, they anticipated forcing the new normal on us as soon as they realized the scope of the situation, and how easy it would be to force changes on us that they would never otherwise be able to achieve.
