You claim to be a messenger of light, but you are clearly not. Jehovah is not some, "minor god." He is the God of all Creation. He was, and is, and is to come. When He instituted the Ten Commandments, that wasn't His ego talking. That was Him asking for what He deserves, the complete worship and adoration of man. I don't know where you get this bull, but you should really straighten out your relationship with God.

I am seriously doubting that you even believe in the Bible or in God in general. Jehovah is another name for the almighty God, not some minor god, and this 'ego-worshipping' you talk about is a)not ego-worshipping, it is asking for what He deserves, and b)even if it was 'ego-worshipping', it is completely justified. HE CREATED US, AND HE LOVES US ENOUGH TO SEND HIS SON TO DIE!

What's so "self-centered" about "Thou Shalt Not Steal"?

I don't know what your worldview is, but if you believe that there is a pantheon of gods/goddesses, or that you believe that all is Atman, or like deity... personal or impersonal... I have this to ask you:

How do you know that what you believe is true?

You see, you have all these deities of different natures and types, can they all be right? If you/ve heard of the Law of Noncontradiction.

If the Law of Noncontradiction is true, then all cannot be true. So again, how do you know if your beliefs are true?

By experience?

Go, and talk to every person in every religion and they'll tell you that their's is true because... they feel it's right. They would all say that they've experienced god intimantly. That would rule out most non-mystical religions, but then you still have more religions as diverse as human faces.

So, how do you know yours is correct?

We believe that Christianity is true because it is proven to be true.

1st - The Bible has no major contradictiions
2nd - Every Messianic prophecy about Christ in the Old Testament came true. The following video explains it:

3rd - Jesus rose physiclaly and bodily from the dead. The Apostles saw the resurrected Christ, and all but one died for what they saw.

There's a 50:50 chance of even one prophecy to be fulfilled, and Jesus fulfilled them.

So is the next person of a different religion. Mormonism basically has the same argument., They are not as mysticals the others, and that they believe in an arguably exclusive god, but the burning in their hearts tells them that the god of Joseph Smith is true.

Because they feel such love in their hearts that they've never felft before. They just know that what they've explored - is true,.
