COVID is an elderly and pre-existing problem. The average age of COVID deaths in the US is 82... 82! Over 90% have pre-existing health issues. Protect these people and stop punishing the rest of the population. This is not a "one size fits all" issue.

Social distancing and quarantining keeps the virus at square one. Lift them both and get a spike – it’s inevitable. The medical profile of those at risk of dying is very well-known. Protect/quarantine/isolate that population and let heard immunity develop. It would be over with in a couple months
