Fauci has been advising President Trump since the very beginning. Trump’s actions are only as good as the advice he gets from Fauci.

The original post also overlooked the fact there are hundreds of airline flights a day into US not just from China but from Europe as well. The logic and reasoning in the original post is completely fallible.

Trump falsely said of domestic COVID-19 cases: “We’re going down, not up. We’re going very substantially down, not up.”
The next day, he claimed of the virus: “One day — it’s like a miracle — it will disappear.”

Stop bashing Trump over the virus. The facts do not support blaming him

Early on Fauci said coronavirus was nothing to worry about. Also he said there was no evidence of human to human transmission. Furthermore, he said Americans did not need to run out and buy masks as they did not prevent you from getting the virus. He also completely discounted GOVERNMENT study on chloroquine tested on SARS (a VERY similar coronavirus) which found that chloroquine was effective not only as therapeutic but prophylactic (preventive) against that coronavirus. It also described chloroquine as cheap and having a safe track record in other use.

97% of COVID-19 deaths are people +70 years old with a chronic medical condition. Blame Gov.Cuomo for all the nursing home deaths in New York because he made them by executive order take in patients from hospitals who tested positive.

People who have diabetes, hypertension, or asthma or COPD (The chronic medical conditions referenced in News and research ) have more ACE-2 receptors, making them more likely to have a serious case of the virus. Compared to Vietnam, the USA seems to have a pandemic of chronic medical conditions. Perhaps that’s why Vietnam has so few deaths – the population is healthier and younger.
