I was thinking that before COVID. But he’s in a downward trajectory. I am in a position where I fare pretty well under any President. I am not loyal to party but to ideologies. Trump appealed to a lot of dumb, racist, narcissistic, and/or wealthy people. If ANY of them are intelligent they would see his vast lies, incapabilities, divisiveness and failures causing the country great harm. But, one or more of those 4 personality traits mentioned before outweighs intelligence. Most DEFEND his actions. So people are blinded by their racism, ignorance, lack of empathy, and/ or their money.
But....there were some folks in the middle that swayed to Trump that are easily swayed back to the left given Trumps actions or inactions culminating in how he is acting most recently. This coming on the heels of NOT “locking her up”, NOT building a wall and having Mexico pay for it, NOT getting anywhere near 5% GDP growth, NOT cutting the debt or the deficit but in fact growing both bigly, NOT repealing and replacing Obamacare, NOT draining the swamp, NOT bringing back coal jobs, etc.
Trump is the most damaging president we have ever seen. And the middle voters see it. He won by the skin of his teeth last time.
It’s not gonna happen again.
