Yes, TenThousandNoobs, it is a sad situation when law enforcement is seen as the enemy and violent protesters are idolized by the deranged left.

It'll be interesting to see if they go ahead with it and what the potential outcome is.

To me it would be "interesting" because I don't live there. But if I lived there, I'd be terrified.

Which also explains why good cops hate bad cops more than anyone else hates bad cops.

It's not my police force or your police force, it is our police force. We are a nation of law and order. There are some bad policemen just like there are some bad economists, carpenters or teachers.

Doesn't it bother you that Chicago has an outrageous rate of black on black crime? Do you think some policemen don't abuse white people, too? Do you want to live in a world where we have no separation between bad and good people? That sure sounds like a lot of fun for the bad guys, & not for the rest of us. 😳🙂

Then put the bad policemen in jail. It's that simple. We send bad teachers to jail, if they do something that violates the public trust. We send bad priests to jail - or maybe that's a bad example; maybe the bad policemen want to get in on the protection bad priests do. But I don't care: if the bad policemen are not leaving, then maybe, just maybe, it's time to shut it down and rebuild it from scratch.

I agree and the bad ones have been arrested and are going to trial. The videos I have seen of George Floyd support police abuse, IMO, but I am not in the jury pool. Bad priests and bad cops definitely belong in jail. We don't tear down our homes to just do some remodeling, anti.

That's EXACTLY what we do when our homes are structurally unsound. Buildings that are just unfit for use that cannot be repaired get torn down all the time and rebuilt afterwards. There's no way you've never seen that happen, it's very common.

Let's make it a spa-like atmosphere with candles and the latest in electronics/gadgets, anti. I think more like Sheriff Arpaio (pink shirts and tents)...quit coddling them and maybe when they get out they will think about NOT going back for a change. My husband and I own properties built starting in the 1970s on and none are unsound. One had to have the foundation leveled and now it is perfect, no major issues. So,you do the repairs and upgrades as needed and you don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Then again, the City Council is wanting to get rid of police entirely so bye bye baby....(something liberals are quite familiar with doing).
