People with firearms outside their businesses aren't preventing people from protesting either - they're preventing people from looting and setting fires. One group is protesting the local authorities laws that harmed the local communities. These were people stating 'your law does not supersede the bill of rights.' They are willing to stop a tyrannical government. They were protecting what is theirs. No matter Politics, class, race, etc. This is okay to do. No looting, no burning things down, no gang stomping innocent people. This was started because a government applied laws that people didn't agree with. Again done peacefully, no need for military.

If you haven't been to a state with open-carry, this may seem scary to you.

The other group started peacefully, began riots hours later. Where they unlawfully destroyed property, hurting people and their livelihood. This was done against citizens, not the government. They hurt George Floyds protest cause. Military needed here.

Media did what the media does and stated the church went up in flames. A very important church to some. He went down and took photos to show a nation that the country is not lost. This might hurt to logically to think about, given you don't know the difference between an apple and an orange, but try. Stop believing every shitty thing you watch and read.
