The ones who recieved the tatooed numbers were the ones who volunteered to snitch on their fellow prisoners as well as watch over them like a boss. They would do this to save themselves and although I understand it as a means to survive for oneself. I do not think that what they did in order to survive should continued to be revered as something special, which the term 'Survivor" seems to invoke. But rather told as a story of something they felt they had to do to survive, Pity for them but in a different way.

The Majority of so called Survivors were generally known as 'Kapo's" they only survived because once inside the camps they told Nazi officers information like. Where the gold was, where people were being hidden from Nazi troops and any other pieces of information that would only benefit the Nazi's. This snitching in turn got them placed into Kapo positions in the camps as a level of trust had been established. They then had to do the forcing of labour, working the other prisoner to death. This may be contrary to your understanding of who worked who to death but you can find the real state of affairs that existed by looking. The Germans of course didn't stop the Kapo from overworking the prisoners and would have been encouraging them to do so. These people were horrible sellouts of the rest of the Jewish populations that perished in prison camps and sellouts to all of humanity itself.

So as your meme says "always take sides" I have. Maybe you should try investigate what these people really are. So many of them have got/have had all these things to say over the years but they really have been used as tools to promote the continued demonisation of anyone who say anything against Israel. Having said all that I'm not against Israel but I do hate Zionist's. Know the difference.

Starting in 1942 the nazis began tattooing all the incoming prisoners, and they went and tattooed those currently in the camp. How about you try reading a few books written by people who survived, specifically children.

Passover celebrates the slaughter of Egyptian children. Hanukkah celebrates the Maccabeean slaughter of the Hasmoneans. Ta'anit Ester is a pre-battle fasting. Lag Ba'Omer is the Bar Kokhba revolt against Rome, etc etc. Even their mundane holidays are celebrations of killing Canaanites and taking their stuff. Their whole history is slaughtering and pillaging their way through the middle east.

No, Passover celebrates the Israelites deliverance from the death angel and their subsequent deliverance from Egypt. The Israelites did not kill any Egyptian children, the death angel did.

Did you skip over the parts where so many of the detained put their life on the line hiding and saving others? You can't just pick out 1 type of atrocity and then use that to judge everything. How were the Kapo's supposed to fight back? Many of them hid and took care of those suffering too. If you'd like to have a conversation, I'm in. If you're going to keep talking down to me, then you can move along.

Some of the Kapo's were despicable, but they were all victims. I won't paint the holocaust with this one broad brush. In any group there will be people who don't have the strength to stand up and voluntarily agree to be killed rather than follow orders.
