But how it happened is Trump got on camera and said "obamagate is the worst thing ever. you know what crimes he did!"

Then he crowdsourced what that crime or maybe crimes actually were (that aren't actually crimes).

Then Barr, surprisingly, came out and said "we're not gonna be doing anything with that."

Barr’s DOJ is partisan as all get-out and no kind of model during normal times, but give the man some credit: he is just barely holding the line against the U.S. turning into a fully-fledged police state.

It’s about the best you can do when your boss is Trump.

When Barr stood up and gave that press conference saying Trump’s tweets made it impossible for him to do his job, that was brave of him.

Now watch Barr go and indict Obama tomorrow because this is what always happens whenever I cautiously praise Trump or an official for anything.

Boils down to Trump claiming he has total authority as President according to Article 2 of the Constitution. So everything he does is legal.

But Obama is not afforded the same right because he's black.

Obama Gate is Trump trying to do to Obama what the Democrats have been doing to him his whole presidency.

Which is waste money trying to prove something is there when actually there is nothing. I doubt Obama will be convicted because I doubt they will find anything. But it will probably be a long drawn out process and waste more money.
