To save Russian citizens...What you got against saving innocent lives anyway? We offered to aid Iran as well...for the people. That's how you overthrow regimes...by creating love for your country by the masses in foreign dictatorships. Been doing it as a matter of public policy for decades...that and bombing them.

Also, Russia is an authoritarian government, not a dictatorship. There are many similarities, but there are a couple differences.

We send aid all around the world to countries we, both agree with, and disagree with, because America is great. And I don't know if you are aware, but Russia is another country, and aiding its citizens, who are in that country, has nothing to do with the illegal aliens that stream across our borders. We also send money to those countries as well, and no one spends anytime criticizing that. It's one way to help the problem, by helping their countries to better themselves so that people want to stay home instead of sending their kids with coyotes to another country, only to have them traded in human trafficking or worse..

Also...Russia is an "authoritarian" government run by a dictator. No one wins 99% in an election...ever, but Putin does. He is the "one" in control of that country and everyone knows it. His word is law. That's a dictator, no matter what you think of the rest of Russia's political system.
