They were purposely doing that in NYC to raise the death toll and make Trump look bad. However, just like every dumb Democrat, their crap backfires on them.

I know, right? It is a very serious problem.

Good gosh, man, are you serious?

Is that what they're doing in Texas now, doing their bit to make poor Trump look bad by making people die?

Our governor didn't order covid patients be put into retirement homes like NY's governor did.

Strange thing is the only place I've heard that is on this site.

Not saying that bunghole is incapable of doing whatever, but my main source of news is local cable & broadcast outlets, and nothing remotely like that I have seen .

Regardless, NY cases have been on a downward trajectory, while in Texas and certain other States who thought this was going to bypass them because, um, they're a different species or something are experiencing an upward trend.

Also, the reason Texas has been on the rise is we're getting a lot more testing done now. In my podunk towns we only had 3 cases until just two weeks ago when we started finally testing and we shot up to 15 cases in the county.

So people wouldn't e dying if it wasn't for testing?

What? No one has died in my county and Texas cases of covid has increased since we started testing because if you don't test you aren't going to know who has it. It's a smoke screen.

My mistake then.

Places are starting to open. Why would they do that if the danger was higher?

No, but since I was 13 in '91. Except for a stint in the army and I moved to Connecticut for a year. I lived my childhood in Washington State.

The danger isn't higher, it just shows that a lot of people have it and are asymptomatic.

Exactly. Testing doesn't change reality.

He blamed Trump afterwards after people started asking him about why he'd do that as if it were Trump telling him to do it, which he didn't. And it isn't even Trump's responsibility, it's the governor's.

Finally caught it on Time/Warner News1 at 1pm today, in the opening.
Cuomo's excuse was that he was following guidelines. I reckon he meant Federal, I have to catch the story again to see.

Heard last month about a certain rehabilitation center/nursing home having had 25 deaths from it. My mother was in that facility for 6 weeks round the same time last year, recuperating from hip replacement surgery after a fall. Now THAT'S scary, as she was already otherwise frail.

Sarcasm fail. The liberal mayor touts his strict gun control, which failed, and now he has the virus killing what the gunmen miss.

Gov Charlie Baker in Mass is a RINO, but he's still a Republican Governor.
2 ups, 4y
He's a Rino-crat.... but I suspect he will change to the D Party in the not too distant future... This is the way MA Democrat politicians hoodwink the voters, making them believe they actually can vote a real R into the Governor's office.... Remember Mitt Romney was also an 'R' Governor of MA.

As you've been explained before. All of those are fact based legitimate responses. Putting them in a pie chart and calling it a wheel doesn't diminish their truth

I disagree. He's not directly responsible, but he is responsible for not firing them and replacing them with competent individuals.
