I watched the video (well some of it - only so much of him I can take, but enough to get the point) and I get what he (and by extension you) is saying, and I can agree to an extent.

Pelosi trying to ramrod abortion funding in with the stimulus didn't exactly help on the politicization front. I sure there are examples of conservatives as well. Still, the politicization makes things worse.
