I don't think Biden was specifically saying it was racist to do a China travel ban, so much as just calling Trump a xenophobe in general. If he was saying the travel ban was racist then, yeah foot in mouth. Yum.

As for Pelosi, she was promoting tourism and Chinese New Year on a local station....

In short, Trump claiming people are calling him racist for the China travel ban is him expecting his top political opponents to be their usual contrarian selves to all his positions. They aren't. At least, not on this issue.

Ah, she may have been there to ease coronavirus fears. Yet, at the time, the virus was contained. Chinatown had seen an economic decline and she was promoting tourism. So, she was downplaying the virus at the time, as was the President I might add, so I'm not sure what his point is exactly.

She did not delete the video. The video may have been taken down but not from her Twitter account as Trump has claimed.

Chinese New Year fell on late January this year as opposed to sometime in February as it usually does. I made a wrong assumption that that was perhaps why she was out there. My mistake.
